Dads Group
Formed in 2019, our Winthrop Primary Dads Group has an active membership with regular events held during the year.
Our Dads Group provides a safe, inclusive and fun environment where fathers and father figures can engage with their children, learn, share and connect with each other. Being part of our Dads Group is a great way to meet new people, be part of the school community and be part of a supportive peer group of Dads.
We have regular Dads and kids and Dads only events through the year including ten pin bowling, lawn bowls, park game events and Goanna Golf.
We also mobilise the Dads Group to support the P&C Busy Bee days and sausage sizzles. Pictured below was our 2021 Campout and Movie Night.

Latest Event: Movie Night & Camp Out!
The Winthrop Primary Dads Group are super excited to be organising a Dads & Kids Movie Night & Camp Out at the school on 21/22 November.
- Give Mum the night off and come along for the Movie only or Movie & Camp Out!
- Tickets for movie night are still available but are strictly limited. –
- This event is provided by P&C – A minimum number of 20 registrations is required for the event to proceed. Please support your P&C.
